 The MC212 is a 2-axis motion module for the Toshiba T2 Series PLC. This module outputs a pulse train to a servo or stepping motor amplifier for motion control in a PLC controlled environment. The MC 212 includes the following features:
- Independent & linear interpolation motion
- Hardware and software end limits with disable
- Variable speed and acceleration rate
- Feedback Pulse Monitoring
- Automatic Homing sequence
- Target position teach
- Auto sequencing of up to 30 motions
- Built in engineering unit conversion software
- Motion interrupt function
- Internal EEPROM for data storage
The MC212 module mounts in any T2E or T2N I/O slot. Several modules can be mounted in T2E or T2N racks to meet a variety of requirements. Each axis requires 30 registers of memory and can be programmed for use with various command units - pulse, Inch, mm or others.
