Video Clips: Wayne Trail - Sheet Feeder (Formatec)
Wayne Trail, based in Ohio and an IIS customer since 1995, manufactures end user and OEM equipment for a variety of industries, including press and metal forming automation, tube bending and fabrication, hydroforming and transfer systems. The sheet feeder in this video is mated to a cupping press from one of Wayne Trails OEM customers, Formatec, and depends on IIS servo control systems to insure precise, high speed feed of thin metal sheets into the press. These high speed, high accuracy applications are typical uses of IIS servo control systems.
